The Psi Beta Cast is UAB's official chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Theatre Honors Society. The
society is devoted to stimulating interest
in theatre at UAB as well as in the community.
All interested and eligible individuals who
are energetic, passionate, and committed
to the dramatic arts are invited to join
this prestigious organization.
Applications can be found on the 2nd floor
of the Alys Stephens Center: in the magazine
racks in the Department's lounge area and
on the Alpha Psi Omega bulletin board. Applicants
are considered for membership based on their
performance or technical work at UAB or in
other college productions. After an initiation
and induction ceremony, eligible candidates
become full-fledged members of the society
and participate in outreach and service projects
of many different kinds.
